BSI Life Sciences develops Swiss-made software that helps CROs, pharmaceutical, biotech, and medtech companies manage clinical research more efficiently. Our solutions including CTMS, eTMF and CRM, connect commercial and operational processes to simplify how clinical studies are planned, managed and delivered.
As we continue to grow internationally, we're looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager who understands the life sciences industry, enjoys building lasting customer relationships, and has an established network within the CRO, biotech, or pharmaceutical ecosystem.

You'll play a key role in expanding BSI Life Sciences' presence across the global clinical research market. From identifying new opportunities to developing strategic customer relationships, you'll help organizations modernize the way they manage clinical development while contributing valuable market insights to our product and commercial teams.

Job requirements
Your responsibilities
Identify, develop, and win new business opportunities with CROs, biotech, and pharmaceutical companies.
Build trusted relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders across commercial, operational, and executive teams.
Manage the entire sales cycle; from first conversation through proposal, negotiation and closing.
Develop strategic account plans and identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships.
Represent BSI Life Sciences at industry conferences, networking events and customer meetings.
Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing and Customer Success to ensure an outstanding customer experience and bring market feedback into our product roadmap.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and contribute to forecasting and business planning.
What you bring
Several years of successful B2B sales or business development experience within the life sciences industry.
Experience working with or selling to CROs, biotech, or pharmaceutical companies.
An established professional network within the clinical research ecosystem is a strong advantage.
A consultative sales approach with excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
A proven track record of generating new business and managing complex sales opportunities.
Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage.
Experience with SaaS or enterprise software is beneficial but not essential.
